Goat Yoga
Baah-Maste
Join us at Tiny Hooves Farm for a yoga experience like no other alongside our mini silky fainting goats and Nigerian dwarf goats! These adorable animals come in all sizes and personalities. While some may hop on your back during a pose, others may simply lounge nearby, nibble grass, or gently nuzzle your side (or your hair!). Goat yoga is open to participants ages 10 and up and is perfect for all experience levels - from first-timers and curious beginners to seasoned yogis. No previous yoga experience is needed, just a willingness to have fun and share your mat with a few four-legged comedians.
The goats at Tiny Hooves are each an important member of our farm family and care deeply about their happiness and wellbeing. For this reason, we only run our interactive programming a few days a week with limited numbers of guests per session. We ask that you arrive right on time so we can get situated with the goats and briefly chat about how to interact with them properly. This introduction is important for a fantastic experience for both you and the goats. Goat yoga is a one hour experience allowing time for an introduction, yoga instruction, and photo opportunities.
During a goat yoga session you will have a chance to:
Pet Nigerian Dwarf goats and Mini Silky Fainting goats
Relax in a farm setting, enjoying the company of the cutest goats around
Move your body with guided, beginner-friendly yoga
Take photos of your experience - No professional photo shoots, please
What to bring:
Yoga mat or beach towel
Comfortable clothing that can handle goat hair and farm things
Water bottle (hydration is always a good idea)
Sunscreen is recommended at your discretion
Cancellation Policy:
When a reservation is cancelled at the last minute, it becomes difficult to fill that space on short notice, resulting in lost opportunities for other guests, for our goats, and for our small farm. Our cancellation policy is in place to maintain the consistency of our farm experiences. At the same time, we realize that everyone is human and life happens. We will do our best to work with you if you must cancel your session.
Full Credit/Refund:
If Tiny Hooves Farm cancels your existing reservation due to unforeseen circumstances we will provide a full refund and will help you reschedule your experience as soon as possible. We will also offer a 15 minute extension to your Hug a Cow session as a thank you for your understanding.
Full Credit/Refund:
Reservations cancelled 5+ days in advance will receive a full credit/refund, minus processing fee.
50% Credit/Refund:
Reservations cancelled 2-4 days in advance will receive a 50% refund, minus processing fee.
No Refund/Credit:
If you cancel within 48 hours or do not show up for your Hug a Cow experience as scheduled, a refund/credit will not be issued, but we will gladly work with you to book another session at regular cost.
Things to consider:
For the safety of our guests and our goats, this is an ages 10+ activity.
Guests under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Goat yoga spots are limited. The number of open spots will be indicated on the reservation page
The rain will not stop our fun! In the event of rain, goat yoga sessions will take place inside the barn rather than the grassy barnyard. As a rainy day bonus, if we are inside the barn you will likely sneak a peek at our mini cows and Valais Blacknose sheep!
This experience involves uneven ground, goat licks, barn and outdoor allergens, and at times goat poop (don’t worry, we will clean it up). If you are adverse to these icky things, consider a different activity. If you’re ready to “goat with the flow,” we look forward to seeing you soon!
Please read this checklist upon registering:
Wear comfortable clothing as you would for any yoga experience.
Dresses and skirts are strongly discouraged. Closed-toe shoes are encouraged on the farm.
Although our Nigerian dwarf and mini silky goats are considered small compared to other goat breeds, our full grown goats can be a bit heavy and at times can be rambunctious with their bodies and horns. Overall, they are laid back and docile animals, but they are still animals.
